Vero Telecom has released a new Beta Firmware update (v0.3.9-2) for the BHM-88 Bluetooth Speaker Mic, featuring enhanced synchronization and critical APRS improvements.

New Features

• Language Synchronization: Supports syncing the device language directly from your smartphone.
• Factory Reset: Added a built-in option to restore the device to factory settings.
• Preset DTMF Commands: Now supports pre-configured DTMF strings for efficient signaling.
• Advanced Radio Settings: Added Bandwidth and Reverse Frequency modification options in the settings menu.
• Intuitive Navigation: You can now switch network channels using the Up/Down buttons on the home screen.
• Enhanced Control: Added Microphone Gain configuration and a toggle switch for system prompt tones.

Optimizations

• Improved Display: The main channel now simultaneously displays both the Channel Name and Frequency.
• UI Enhancements: The interface now displays the Zone Name when switching between different zones.
• Network & Messaging: Displays the bound network channel name during RoIP reception and supports viewing multiple messages from the same teammate.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the Channel Name would not display correctly when receiving messages on a custom APRS channel.
• Resolved a bug that prevented APRS messages from being sent successfully.
