Vero Telecom has released a comprehensive Beta Firmware update for the VR-N76, focusing on audio modulation consistency, iOS compatibility, and Network (RoIP) stability.

New Features & Optimizations

• Preset DTMF Commands: Supports pre-configured DTMF strings for faster signaling.
• Advanced Display: Main channel now shows Channel Name and Frequency simultaneously.
• Network Sync: Displays the bound network channel name during RoIP reception.
• Messaging Update: Enhanced display for multiple consecutive messages from the same teammate.
• Audio Refinement: Unified DTMF modulation between the radio and phone app.
• Microphone Gain: Significantly expanded the adjustment range for Mic Gain settings.
• Proactive Alerts: Audible prompt tone plays 5 seconds before the Time-Out Timer (TOT) expires.
• Bandwidth Control: Added a Bandwidth modification option in the radio settings menu.
• Narrowband Indicator: Status bar now displays "N" when using Narrowband.
• Global Time Zones: Full support added for GMT+14.

Bug Fixes & Stability

• iOS & HFP Connectivity: Fixed the issue where iOS devices could not connect due to HFP disabling; resolved associated reboot glitches.
• RoIP Reliability: Fixed issues where the device would freeze, play noise, or stop audio when the phone connection dropped during network reception.
• KISS Transmission: Resolved interruption bugs to ensure reliable data packet transmission.
• Frequency Lock: Fixed the bug where receiving frequency failed to return to the current channel after launching a transmission in single-monitor mode.
